Our botanical handmade soap for body and hands
The ground coffee beans helps with circulation while being a natural anti-oxidant. Pumice has been added for extra scrubbiness to remove dirt and grease. This is combined in our unique nourishing base of Victorian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter and Organic Cacao Butter.
Our best selling vegan soaps are loaded with cold pressed Victorian olive oil, certified organic cacao and shea butter (from women’s coops in Ghana) and coconut oil for rich bubbles.
Our soaps help women in marginalised communities in Ghana. Every time you purchase a soap from us, you are helping women support their families and educate their kids.
We use cold pressed Victorian olive oil obtained directly from producers. We support farmers and their families. As a small business with an ethos on sustainable local ingredients, we are very passionate about what we do.
Our soaps are minimally packaged with a belly band. They are grey water safe and perfect for septic tanks.
Washing hands with soap and water is the recommended way of warding off the spread of disease. Our soaps have a rich creamy lather and won’t leave your skin dry and starchy.
Our unique nourishing formula contains
Castor Oil: Ricinoleic acid, the main fatty acid found in castor oil, has impressive anti-inflammatory properties. Aside from castor oil’s potential to reduce inflammation, it may help relieve dry, irritated skin in those with psoriasis, thanks to its moisturising properties, it also makes for a lovely bubbly soap lather.
Olive Oil: Naturally, olive oil is packed with anti-ageing antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails
Sunflower: Sunflower seed oil contains vitamins and fatty acids that act as antioxidants to regenerate new skin cells and help your skin
*Shea Butter: I purchase my certified 100% organic shea butter from Deluxe Shea Butter. Traditional methods of processing ensure a very clean butter free from any additives or chemicals. Our shea butter comes from women co-operative groups in the Gumo – Kumbungu district in Tamale located in the Northern part of Ghana.
The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids, makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturising. It is often used to remedy dry skin and to help protect the skin’s natural oils.
Cacao Butter: I source my certified organic cacao butter from the Amazon region in Peru. It has natural antioxidants, fatty acids and Vitamin E.
